Horror Podcasts on Youtube! The Morgue is Moving Along! A Self-Help Inspirational Book?
Horror Podcasts on Youtube!
If you follow me on any of my socials, you probably already know that Olivia Blair—my badass friend, and co-founder at Fanward—and I host a weekly podcast where we try to give the voice back to you, the audience.
Because let’s be real... in a world where every massive studio and AAA game company plays the victim while squeezing the life out of the very people keeping them alive, someone’s gotta shift the spotlight back where it belongs: on the fans, the creators, and the stories that actually matter to us.
This week—and next week, for part two—we’re diving into a topic that’s near and dear to my cold, cursed little heart. That’s right. We’re talkin’ horror, baby.
So head on over to the official Fanward YouTube channel to check out this week's episode, catch next week’s continuation, and keep an eye out for an upcoming special one... which might just happen to be about a certain 630-page horror epic I wrote. No big deal. Just a little nightmare of a novel, is all.
The Morgue is Moving Along!
Believe it or not, it's looking like The Morgue is going to be ready and published, and available to the public right in time for Halloween of this year!Yeah, no joke! Fans of Wicker Hill won't have to wait long to find out what happens in the universe of the Wicker Anthology, as they will have the second book of the four book series in their hands and readable before the end of the year!
I've been re-reading what I have completed so far, and holy shit it is good (toot-toot). It is SO good. I'm enjoying it so much that I'm losing track of time every time I sit down to read it.
With even more emotionally resonant moments, more terror on a more intimate level and more eroticism on an even more intimate level, The Morgue is shaping up to be the intense, horror-heavy gutpunch of the entire series.
If Wicker Hill is the step into the water, then the Morgue is the hand that pulls you under.
You will have to wait a book or two more before you can actually come up for breath. But stay tuned! This is getting crazy, and I can't wait!
A Self-Help Inspirational Book?
Firstly… why?
Honestly, fair question.
But for someone like me—someone who’s lived through a rough stretch of life… depression, suicidal thoughts, divorce, loss, regret, bullying, betrayal, abuse, losing myself completely—and somehow managed to crawl out the other side, this felt like the exact book that needed to be written.
Yeah, it’s a bit outside my usual lane. But maybe that’s the point. The fact that it’s so different, and I still feel pulled to write it—that tells me I’m supposed to.
So I am.
The Sisyphus Complex is my attempt to tie the grind of real life to the ancient myth of Sisyphus—the guy cursed to push a boulder up a hill forever, only to watch it roll back down every time. But here’s the thing: he still pushes. Day after day. Whether it’s out of defiance, stubborn hope, or sheer willpower… he keeps going.
And don’t we all?
We fall, we break, we burn out—and yet we keep getting back up. Even knowing we’ll fall again. So how do we live with that struggle, instead of treating it like some enemy to conquer? How do we stop seeing it as punishment and start seeing it as proof that we’re alive?
Not “it is what it is.”
But: “I’ll do it. Because I can. Because I must.”
That’s what this book is about. Taking everything that feels pointless, painful, exhausting—and turning it into fuel.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re stuck at the bottom of the hill—I hope The Sisyphus Complex helps you find your footing again. Helps you stand up, take a breath… and start pushing.
